India in colour

This series was photographed inside Agra Fort and focuses on small, overlooked details rendered in warm brown earth tones. Light, stone, dust, and weathered surfaces become the main subjects, revealing a quieter and more tactile side of the place. With some exceptions, I chose to work in colour. The warm browns of the fort—shaped by heat, age, and use—were impossible to resist. Made during the intense summer of 2025, with temperatures rising above 40 °C, the images reflect both the physical presence of the location and the atmosphere in which they were created.

This section offers a broader view inside the ford. Even in the shade, the heat was relentless, with temperatures rising well above 35 °C. The air felt heavy and still, shaping both the light and the pace of movement through the space.

This mini-series focuses on the Baby Taj, capturing its delicate details and quiet charm. Shot in natural light, the images explore the textures of carved stone, the interplay of shadows, and the subtle warmth of the surrounding environment.

Taken in the same scorching summer of 2025, the heat adds an extra intensity to the surfaces and colours, emphasizing the tactile presence of the monument. The series offers a small, intimate look at a lesser-known gem of Agra, highlighting both its architectural grace and the atmosphere around it.
