Stories in Stone
Welcome to my black-and-white photo series, where Indonesia’s stones come to life.
From the intricate carvings of Borobudur to the weathered stones in historic towns, each shot tells its own story. These stones aren't just relics of the past—they hold a beauty that endures. This time, I decided to shoot digitally, a method I personally don’t prefer, but with the heat and multiple scans at airport security, it was a necessity. Despite that, I focused on capturing the textures, shapes, and shadows that let the stories in the stone speak for themselves.
This collection is my way of honoring Indonesia's rich history and architecture, told through the strength of its stones.
