I don’t usually delve into technical details because I believe the focus should remain on the image itself rather than the technical aspects. That said, I must admit I sometimes fall into that trap myself!
As you might have noticed, I mostly shoot on film. While there’s nothing wrong with digital photography, film offers certain advantages that resonate with me. Its inherent limitations push my creativity, and I love the consistent “look” of film, which I find more organic compared to the sometimes overly clinical feel of digital.
For those curious, these images were shot on Ilford HP5 Plus film rated at EI 400 and developed in XT3 Adox developer. The prints were made on Ilford Multigrade V paper. I used two Nikon F5 cameras, paired with a 17-35mm f/2.8 and a 28-70mm f/2.8 lens, both equipped with light yellow filters.
I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed creating them!
